The Illinois River Watershed Partnership is hosting a May 15th webinar titled:
Riparian Restoration in the Illinois River Watershed – Six Years of Experience and Lessons (“Webinar”).
The Webinar will be presented by Leif Kindberg, who serves as the Executive Director of the Illinois River Watershed Partnership.
The Webinar will be held on May 15th from noon – 1 p.m.
Mr. Kindberg will discuss work undertaken by the Riparian Restoration Program that is stated to have enhanced and restored streams in the Watershed from 2014 – 2019. The work is stated to have been undertaken with funding from:
- Arkansas Department of Agriculture – Natural Resources Division.
- The Walton Family Foundation.
- 12 other state, local, and federal partners.
The Webinar will also address some of Mr. Kindberg’s experience involving urban and rural projects including lessons learned.
