The United States Army Corps of Engineers (“Corps”) Little Rock District announced in an April 10th news release that it will hold a regulatory transformation workshop (“Workshop”) on May 12th.
The Workshop will be held at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Corps describes the Workshop as an opportunity:
… for regulatory experts, federal, state and local partners and industry consultants to network, share insights and learn about the latest USACE policies, updates and best practices.
Session topics are stated to include:
- Regulatory Program history.
- Authorities and updates.
- Technology including the Regulatory Request System and submitting applications,.
- Permit types.
- Jurisdiction.
- Mitigation strategies.
Space is noted to be limited and registration is required by close of business May 7th.
