Mill Creek/Arkansas: H2Ozarks Announces Cost-Share Program

H2Ozarks announced in the January Basin Bulletin that it is accepting applications for its Mill Creek Cost-Share program (“Program”).
The Program is stated to provide landowners with financial and technical support for conservation practices that benefit both their land and water resources.
The announcement references:
- Mill Creek area (a.k.a. Flatrock Creek).
- Dogpatch Springs Recharge area (including part of the Crooked Creek area).
H2Ozarks states that eligible landowners could receive 80-100% cost coverage up to a maximum of $7,500 for eligible projects such as:
- Livestock fencing.
- Prescribed burns.
- Streambank stabilization.
