The Arkansas Water Resources Center (“AWRC”) has announced the next Arkansas Water Webinar which is titled:
Five Decades of Water Restoration Research, What’s Been Learned and What are We Going to Do Differently? (“Webinar”).
The speakers include:
- Matt Julius, PhD Professor, St. Cloud State University, Minnesota
- Byron Winston, PhD, University of Arkansas, Senior Environmental Scientist, AECOM, Florida
The Webinar will be held on October 16th from noon – 1:00 P.M.
AWRC indicates that the Webinar will address phosphorus/nitrogen reduction in disparate eutrophic systems including:
- Review of the history of management efforts and theory development.
- Identifying limitations of certain approaches.
- Current research addressing limitations (along with results).
