Diesel Emission Reduction: Arkansas Energy and Environment - Division of Environmental Quality Announces Funding Availability

The Arkansas Energy and Environment - Division of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) issued a July 2nd news release stating that it is making $949,488 available for eligible diesel emission reduction projects under its GoRed! Reduce Emissions from Diesels program.
The program provides funding assistance to Arkansas-based organization for projects that reduce diesel emissions from:
- Exhaust controls.
- Engine upgrades.
- Idle reduction technology.
- Engine replacement.
- Vehicle replacement.
Funding is provided by the Diesel Emission Reduction Act.
The first deadline to apply is stated to be July 30, 2026, with subsequent deadlines on the last day of each month until all funds are awarded, or until November 30, 2026, whichever comes first.
