The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) issued a news release announcing the Clean Water State Revolving Fund’s George F. Ames Performance and Innovation in the SRF Creating Environmental Success (“PISCES”) Program awards.
The Program recognizes Clean Water State Revolving Funds assistance recipients for exceptional projects.
EPA states that participating state programs each nominate one project that exemplifies one or more of the following evaluation criteria:
- Environmental and Public Health Protection.
- Community Engagement.
- System Partnerships.
- Innovative Financing.
- Problem Solving.
EPA selects an Exceptional Project from the nominations every year for each of the five evaluation criteria categories.
The Springdale Water & Sewer Commission was recognized for an Exceptional Project designation.
Springdale Water & Sewer Commission was selected for its Bethel Heights Wastewater Regionalization with Springdale.
