The Arkansas State Marketing Board for Recyclables and Compliance Advisory Panel (“Board”) is scheduled to meet on June 29th via Zoom.
The Board meets quarterly.
The Board consists of five members who are appointed by the Governor. Its duties include advising and assisting the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment – Division of Environmental Quality (“DEQ”) with:
. . . finding and maintaining markets for recyclable materials in Arkansas.
The Compliance Advisory Panel is described as a federal program established to help small businesses with their air permits.
Agenda items for the June 29th meeting include:
- Fiscal overview
- Determination of the 2021 stipend
- Amendment of prior meeting minutes
- Introductions of new DEQ staff
- Discussion of vacant positions
- Update from DEQ Office of Air Quality
The public is encouraged to attend the quarterly Board meetings.
