The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment announced the agenda for the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission (“Commission”) meeting on September 25th.
The Commission is the environmental policy-making body for Arkansas.
The Commission, with certain exceptions, meets on a monthly basis. It issued a notice stating:
… The Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission (PC&EC) will meet Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the Commission Room at the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment headquarters, located at 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, Ark.
The meeting agenda includes a report from the Division of Environmental Quality’s Chief Administrator of Environment, Bailey Taylor; a request for a vote of a wastewater licensing committee member; and a vote to initiate rulemaking for amendments to 8 CAR pt. 22, PC&EC’s rule addressing the licensing of wastewater treatment plant operators.
The agenda, including links to various documents associated with the agenda items, will be available online at https://www.adeq.state.ar.us/commission/agenda.aspx for the public to view in advance of the meeting.
