The Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission (“Commission”) is the environmental policy-making body for Arkansas.
The Commission, with certain exceptions, meets on a monthly basis. The Commission issued a notice stating:
…The Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission (PC&EC) will meet Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Commission Room at the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment headquarters, located at 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, Ark.
Agenda items include:
- Nomination and selection of the Commission chair and vice chair;
- A report from the Division of Environmental Quality’s Chief Administrator of Environment, Bailey Taylor;
- A proposed revision to the business plan for used-tire program 4 (UTP-4); and
- A request to vote for the reappointment of a member of the Solid Waste Licensing Committee.
