The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment announced the agenda for the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission (“Commission”) meeting on December 5th.
The Commission is the environmental policy-making body for Arkansas.
The Commission, with certain exceptions, meets on a monthly basis. It issued a notice stating:
The Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission (PC&EC) will meet Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Commission Room at the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment headquarters, located at 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, Ark.
The December 2025 PC&EC meeting agenda includes a report from the Division of Environmental Quality’s Chief Administrator of Environment, Bailey Taylor; a request for approval of an appointment to the wastewater licensing committee; a vote to initiate rulemaking for proposed amendments to 8 CAR Sec. 60-1304; a vote to approve Used Tire District-4 (Southeast)’s and Used Tire District 2 (Northeast)’s revised Business Plans with increased rates; and a vote on PC&EC’s 2026 meeting dates.
