The Arkansas Native Plant Society (“Society”) will hold its 2021 Botany Blitz (“Blitz”) throughout the month of May.
The purpose of the Blitz is to assist in promoting the Society’s mission of educating the public about native plant species found in Arkansas.
The Blitz activities will include a series of free webinars that will be held throughout the month of May. The webinars will be led by a variety of experts on Arkansas’s native plants.
The webinars are open to the public (i.e., you do not have to be a member of the Society).
Additional planned Blitz activities include an online silent auction in which bidders will have a chance to win potted native plants, Society shirts and merchandise and a copy of a publication titled:
Trees, Shurbs, and Woody Vines (signed by the authors)
A series of flyers that provide additional information regarding the webinars and related Blitz events can be found here.
