The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) in its April 13th newsletter stated that Eric Cummings has been named an Agriculture Watershed Specialist at the organization.
Mr. Cummings is described as bringing:
… over 20 years of experience in sustainable agriculture and water resources research.
BWA describes the organization as representing:
… a diverse stakeholder group from conservation, education, water utilities, technical and science, business, agriculture, recreation, and local government groups working together for the cause of clean water.
Mr. Cummings’ education includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering – University of Arkansas.
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering - University of Arkansas.
He is stated to have worked on stakeholder-driven initiatives that connect conservation goals with the practical needs of landowners. Further, he is stated to be passionate about advancing agricultural practices that support environmental health while ensuring long-term success for producers.
