The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) announced that Caitlin Cooper will serve as their new Outreach Assistant.
BWA describes the organization as being:
… formed in 2011 to establish programming to maintain high-quality drinking water in Beaver Lake and improve water quality on the Beaver Lake Watershed.
BWA states that it represents a diverse stakeholder group from conservation, education, water utilities, technical and science, business, agriculture, recreation, and local government groups working together for the cause of clean water.
Caitlin’s educational background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communication from the University of Georgia.
- Master’s degree in Agriculture and Extension Education from the University of Arkansas.
She is stated to have worked throughout her career with various conservation-focused agriculture non-profits.
