The Arkansas chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (“SWANA”) has announced the location and date of its 2026 Annual Conference.
The Conference will be held at the Aloft Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas, from August 5th through 7th.
SWANA states that the Conference will bring together:
… solid waste and recycling professionals from across Arkansas… for three days of education, networking, and industry collaboration.
The Arkansas Chapter of SWANA describes its objective as promoting excellence in waste resource management in the state of Arkansas. The organization further states that:
… Through development of local and regional conferences and training seminars, and working with the National SWANA Organization, Arkansas SWANA encourages environmentally and economically sound solid waste management practices.
Besides the educational sections, events listed include:
- Tour of the Arkansas State Capitol and legislative meeting.
- Professional development and licensing credit.
- Trap shooting outing at the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation Shooting Sports Complex in Jacksonville.
