The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment - Division of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) and Grace Composites, L.L.C. (“GC”) entered into a January 30th Consent Administrative Order (“CAO”) addressing an alleged violation of an air permit. See Case #: CAO-25-0065.
The CAO provides that GC owns and operates a fiberglass pipe and fitting manufacturing facility located in Lonoke County, Arkansas.
The facility operates pursuant to a Clean Air Act Title V Air Permit.
ADEQ is stated to have performed a compliance evaluation at the facility on April 21, 2025, covering the reporting period of January 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025.
GC responded to ADEQ questions regarding alleged noncompliance items on May 12, 2025. The response stated the facility has contracted with an environmental consulting company for ongoing air support and compliance assistance regarding timely Semi-Annual Monitoring Report (“SAMR”) and Annual Compliance Certification (“ACC”) reporting.
The CAO alleges that the facility failed to timely submit General Provision 21 recordkeeping report from the Title V Permit.
A civil penalty of $1,600 is assessed.
A copy of the CAO can be found here.
