The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust (“NWALT”) announced its Acre x Acre 2025 honorees.
NWALT states the annual awards celebrate:
…land conservation and the people committed to protecting our natural resources in our region.
NWALT describes its mission as to “preserve and enhance the quality of life for all people in Northwest Arkansas through the permanent protection plan.”
The honorees include:
- Joe Neal – 2025 Arkansas Conservation Legend (naturalist, author, and educator).
- Theo Witsell – 2025 Arkansas Conservation Stewardship Honoree (botanist and ecologist).
- Crafton Tull – 2025 NWAL Partner of the Year (employee-owned planning, design, and surveying firm).
