House Bill 1687 has been introduced which would amend the law concerning the tax exemptions applicable to a water authority.
The Bill was introduced by Representative Kendra Moore of Lincoln and Senator Bart Hester of Cave Springs.
HB1687 would amend Ark. Code Ann. § 4-35-108 to add a section “b” that would read as follows:
…A water authority formed under this chapter is exempt from all excise taxes of any kind or nature.
