Big River Steel (“BRS”) is inviting participation in the 2026 Mississippi County Watershed Forum (“Forum”).
The Forum is described as a collaborative gathering of local stakeholders committed to protecting and enhancing the region’s water sources.
BRS describes the Forum as being designed to:
… bring together representatives from agriculture, industry, conservation organizations, educational institutions, and community groups to discuss watershed priorities, share ongoing efforts, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
This dialogue is intended to:
- Support water quality.
- Enhance watershed resilience.
- Strengthen the long-term sustainability of Mississippi County’s natural resources.
Topics will include:
- Current watershed conditions and emerging challenges.
- Conservation and water quality initiatives.
- Opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
- Watershed stewardship and sustainability strategies.
- Local and regional priorities impacting water resources.
The Forum will be held on October 15th from 9:00 – 12:00 pm at the Lawrence Family Campus – ANC | 5101 US-61 Wilson, Arkansas 72395.
