Alcohol Permitting and Regulation

Mitchell Williams’ Alcohol Permitting and Regulation Practice Group represents clients in the alcoholic beverage and hospitality industries seeking to sell or distribute alcoholic beverages in the state of Arkansas.

Our lawyers are members of the National Association of Licensing and Compliance Professionals (NALCP) and have experience with state and federal regulations governing the manufacture, distribution and sale of alcoholic beverages as they relate to producers, distributors and retailers in Arkansas. We advise clients on all aspects of permitting and regulation, from choosing the correct type of permit to interpreting regulations surrounding the marketing, advertising and sale of alcoholic beverages, to representing our clients before administrative agencies and the courts.  Our clients range from small local breweries and restaurants to national retailers, convenience stores, and hotels.

Mitchell Williams’ lawyers have been at the forefront of alcohol legislation in counties across the state. The combination of our experience and our relationships at the state and county level allows us to efficiently and effectively assist our clients in navigating complex regulations and permitting requirements.

Our representation goes beyond alcohol permitting and regulation. As we work with our clients we also provide strategic advice on all aspects of their businesses that can impact the clients ability to obtain the necessary permits and licenses including:
