Mitchell Williams Welcomes Spring 2026 Law Clerks

(Little Rock, Ark.) Seven law students have joined Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. as clerks for the 2026 Spring term. Clerking in Little Rock are Trish Boyd, Hannah Malone, Nayeli Ortiz and Stephanie Wallace-Wolf. In the firm’s Rogers office, Alondra Gilbrech, Cooper Lawson and Stephen Tate are clerking.
The clerk program helps law students deepen their legal skills and knowledge as they prepare for careers in law. As law clerks, the students support attorneys, contribute to ongoing casework and gain hands-on experience as part of the firm’s longstanding commitment to developing the next generation of legal professionals.
Boyd is a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. She earned top paper awards in Torts and Property I and Contracts II. She currently serves as an apprentice with the UA Little Rock Law Review and as a research assistant for Josh Silverstein. Boyd holds a Master of Arts in political science and a graduate certificate in applied sciences from the University of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Arts both in political science and economics from the University of North Carolina.
Malone is also a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she serves as an apprentice with the UA Little Rock Law Review. In addition, she is a Master of Public Service candidate from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. She holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Central Arkansas.
Ortiz is a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she serves as an apprentice with the UA Little Rock Law Review. She earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business, magna cum laude, with minors in Spanish and legal studies from the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business.
Wallace-Wolf is a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she is a Bowen Fellow, a member of the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers and is the recipient of the Access to Justice Pro Bono Award. She earned a Master of Education from the University of California Los Angeles, School of Education.
Gilbrech is a student at the University of Arkansas School of Law and serves as staff editor on the Food Law and Policy Journal. She was recognized as Spring 2025 Best Oralist for Appellant and is a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association. Gilbrech holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Arkansas.
Lawson is a student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he serves as staff editor for the Arkansas Law Review. He is the recipient of the Judge Thomas F. Butt Legal Excellence Award and earned Top Student in Torts Section, Property Section, Legal Research and Writing I Section and Civil Procedure Section. He also earned Best Oralist for Appellee – Legal Research and Writing II. Lawon holds a Master of Professional Accountancy with a concentration in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business.
Tate is a student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he is the recipient of the Judge Thomas F. Butt Legal Excellence Award and earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research & Writing I in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025. Tate earned a Bachelor of Arts with high distinction in political science from the University of Arkansas.
