Mitchell Williams Welcomes 2026 Summer II Law Clerks

(Little Rock, Ark.) - Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. has welcomed four law students as clerks for the 2026 Summer II term. Trish Boyd and Kaytlin Wheeler are clerking in Little Rock, while Sidney Kincaid and Nayeli Ortiz are clerking in the firm’s Rogers office.
The firm’s clerk program helps law students deepen their legal skills and knowledge as they prepare for careers in law. As law clerks, the students support attorneys, contribute to ongoing casework and gain hands-on experience as part of the firm’s longstanding commitment to developing the next generation of legal professionals.
Boyd is a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. She earned top paper awards in Torts and Property I and Contracts II. She currently serves as an apprentice with the UA Little Rock Law Review and as a research assistant for Josh Silverstein. Boyd holds a Master of Arts in political science and a graduate certificate in applied sciences from the University of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Arts both in political science and economics from the University of North Carolina.
Wheeler is a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she is a member of the UA Little Rock Law Review. She graduated summa cum laude from Lyon College with a Bachelor of Arts in both psychology and political science.
Kincaid is a student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where she is symposium editor for the Arkansas Law Review. She serves as secretary of the Women’s Law School Association and is a 2026 Ben J. Altheimer Moot Court Competition semifinalist. She is a volunteer with the Delta Initiative and serves as a student ambassador for the University of Arkansas School of Law Alumni Society.
Ortiz is a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she serves as an apprentice with the UA Little Rock Law Review. She graduated from the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and minors in both Spanish and legal studies.
