Mitchell Williams Welcomes 2026 Summer I Law Clerks

(Little Rock, Ark.) Five law students have joined Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. as clerks for the 2026 Summer I term. Clerking in Little Rock are Joelle Liles, Aubrey Matheson and Christian Samaniego. In the firm’s Rogers office are Mason Bravo and Margarita Gonzalez.
The clerk program helps law students deepen their legal skills and knowledge as they prepare for careers in law. As law clerks, the students support attorneys, contribute to ongoing casework and gain hands-on experience as part of the firm’s longstanding commitment to developing the next generation of legal professionals.
Liles is a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she serves treasurer of the Finch Society and is a member of the Business and Tax Law Society. She holds a B.S.B.A. in finance from the University of Arkansas and earned an Associate of General Studies from the University of Arkansas at Rich Mountain.
Matheson is also a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she was a 2025 Martin Luther King, Jr. National Civil Rights Trial Competition Finalist. She is active on the National Mock Trial Team and a member of the Association of Women Lawyers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in public policy leadership, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi.
Samaniego is a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where he serves as parliamentarian of the Student Bar Association. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Texas at El Paso
Bravo clerking in the Rogers office, is a student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he was named Best Oralist for his 1L Appellate Brief and earned a CALI Award in Property. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, magna cum laude, from the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton Honors College of Business.
Gonzalez, also based in Rogers, is a student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where she serves as article editor for the Arkansas Law Review. She serves as a women and minorities representative for the Student Bar Association. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Arkansas.
