Insurance Regulatory Attorney Rustin Gaines, CFE, Joins Firm

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) — Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. is pleased to welcome Attorney Rustin Gaines, CFE, to the firm. Rustin joins the firm’s national insurance regulatory practice.   

Rustin is a former regulator with the Mississippi Insurance Department and a certified financial examiner (CFE). He advises insurance company clients on insurance regulation, transactions involving insurance entities and state insurance department enforcement matters. He also assists with reviewing corporate transactions including insurance mergers and acquisitions.

Rustin earned a juris doctor from Mississippi College School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in risk management and financial planning from Mississippi State University.  He obtained the Certified Financial Examiner (CFE) designation from the Society of Financial Examiners.
