Attorney Colt Galloway: I’m a litigator, so a lot of times, I'm not involved until a lawsuit is filed. The first question on everybody's mind is: “Is this case defensible?”
It's always helpful to have a long-term relationship with a client. When I understand how a company works, it can help me defend the case better without having to do a bunch of investigation. It's a great idea to always take a look at your contracts and see if there's anything that could be revisited or revised to make it more clear and to help avoid litigation on the front end. The earlier they get to us, the better. It's our job to try to protect our clients and get the best outcome possible, and those are the best moments for me.
