Attorney Anton Janik Elected to SWABC Board of Directors

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) — Attorney Anton Janik has been elected to the Southwest Association of Bank Counsel Board of Directors. The association’s mission is to educate members who devote a substantial part of their professional time to representing banks and other financial institutions, promote networking among bank lawyers and encourage the exchange of information on transactional techniques and developments in the law.
Janik specializes in information privacy, security and data rights, complex litigation and tax controversies. He leads the firm Information Privacy, Security and Data Rights practice and the Tax Controversy and Litigation practice where he advises financial institutions, businesses and individuals on tax controversies, internal investigations and corporate compliance, privacy, security and data rights matters. Anton previously served as a trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
Janik earned an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College. He has earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP) credentials.
