Mitchell Williams Welcomes 2026 Fall Law Clerks

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.,) – Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C., welcomes four law students as clerks for the 2026 fall term. Molly Austin, Spencer George, Cooper Horton, and Maxwell Parker will support attorneys and gain hands-on experience as part of the firm’s longstanding commitment to develop the next generation of legal professionals.

Molly Austin is a student at the University of Arkansas School of Law and will clerk in the Mitchell Williams Rogers office. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing, economics, and supply chain and logistics from the University of Central Arkansas. While at UCA, she held leadership roles in the UCA Student Government Association and the Bears for the Advancement of Supply Chain and Operations Management Club. She also completed more than 300 community service hours focused primarily on advocating for cancer research and patient support.

Spencer George also is a University of Arkansas School of Law student and will clerk in the Mitchell Williams office in Rogers, Arkansas. Spencer earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Arkansas. While at the University of Arkansas, Spencer was involved with student government and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

Cooper Horton will clerk in the Mitchell Williams Little Rock office. Cooper also is pursuing a Master of Public Service at the Clinton School of Public Service. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in international studies with a concentration in security studies and linguistics with concentrations in Russian and Chinese. While at UCA, Cooper worked for UCA Campus Outdoors and Recreation and was a policy intern in Washington, D.C. He currently volunteers with the Lesaper Fellowship with Teach the Shoah. The fellowship is a storytelling initiative designed to ensure that Holocaust survivor testimonies are preserved, lived, and shared.

Maxwell E. Parker is a law student at the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and will clerk in the Mitchell Williams Little Rock office. At Bowen, Max is a 2L teaching assistant for Research, Writing, and Analysis courses. Max holds a Bachelor of Arts in politics from Hendrix College, where he also was an eight-time individual finalist at the Southern Athletic Association Conference Championships as a member of the swimming and diving team. He taught 11th- and 12th-grade psychology and sociology at Forrest City School District for 1.5 years while also serving as the swim coach.
