Attorney Jerry Zimmerman: You know, for me, it really starts with listening. Oftentimes you'll pick up on things and hear things that are really important that you'll miss if you're talking. Particularly when you're talking to regulators, oftentimes they will tell you what the problem is or what the issue is or what they're trying to solve for.
And I think that's one of the things that I find most enjoyable about this work – just getting to know my clients, what motivates them, what's important to them, what gets them out of bed in the morning, what excites them. And then turning that into a story that we can share in order to ultimately help the client achieve what it is they're trying to achieve.
