Author: Walter G. Wright As noted in previous blog posts, the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has proposed various revisions to Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission Regulations No. 18, 19 and 26. These regulations address various air permitting and pollution control issues. The agency had previously accepted comments on the proposed rules. A previous blog post referenced extensive Arkansas Environmental Federation comments. Other organizations that have since filed comments include several in the health field. The Arkansas Children's Hospital, Arkansas Hospital Association, University of Arkansas Medical Sciences and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering filed comments dated December 14, December 12, December 17 and December 20 respectively. Detailed comments were also filed by the Steel Coalition of Arkansas ("SCA"). A copy of the referenced organizations' comments can be downloaded below except the comments from Steel Coalition of Arkansas, which will be posted in two parts because of its size.
