Mitchell Williams Attorney Rachael Padgett Presented at the Texas Association of Health Plans Managed Care Conference

AUSTIN – Attorney Rachael Padgett presented at the Texas Association of Health Plans Managed Care Conference and Trade Show in Houston. The conference, titled “Vital Signs: A Road Map to Affordable Health Care,” featured speakers who discussed ways to achieve greater value, affordability, transparency and accessibility in health care.

Padgett served on the Health Insurance Market Policy Activity roundtable, where she joined panelists in exploring how state and federal policy toward the individual market might evolve in years to come.

Padgett has a diverse healthcare and benefits practice representing institutional and individual clients in transactions, administrative proceedings and litigation as well as counseling on operational and regulatory issues. A majority of her work is focused on counseling managed care clients concerning insurance regulatory matters, license applications, product filings and compliance with other health related laws.
