LITTLE ROCK (April 6, 2018) – Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. attorney Michelle Browning was a presenter at the annual spring conference of the Arkansas Society for Healthcare Marketing & Public Relations (ASHM&PR) in Little Rock today.
Browning’s presentation, “The Stark Law: Understanding the Rules,” helped marketing and public relations professionals determine where federal law applies within their marketing and communications strategies.
Browning is a trial lawyer who represents major health care systems in Arkansas. She is certified in health-care compliance by the Compliance Certification Board. Browning focuses her practice on defending claims of professional liability and has successfully tried numerous civil cases, including several multi-million dollar civil cases all of which resulted in successful verdicts for her clients.
The ASHM&PR is affiliated with the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and the Arkansas Hospital Association (AHA). The purpose ASHM&PR is to improve the quality of health facility marketing and public relations by raising the professional knowledge and standards of practitioners and by promoting understanding among health facilities.
