LITTLE ROCK – Attorney Larry Watkins presented at the Arkansas General Contractors Membership Luncheon at Noon today. The luncheon was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in North Little Rock and was attended by AGC members.
Watkins discussed the basics of Public-Private Partnership (P3s) projects and the four options for executing a P3 in Arkansas. He also presented information about the P3 enabling legislation and provided a statutory overview.
Watkins provides clients with administrative and transactional guidance for public-private partnership projects. He advises and counsels owners, contractors and suppliers on matters of construction contracts, project financing, licensing and business regulation. He also represents clients in design and construction litigation, mediation and arbitration. Watkins is also an American Arbitration Association Panel Construction Industry Arbitrator and Mediator, a Professor of Construction Law (ADJ) at the University of Arkansas School of Law, Little Rock, and a frequent author on and presenter of construction legal matters in Arkansas.
