AUSTIN, Texas – Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. announces Jessica Palvino has joined the firm as Counsel in the Austin office.
Palvino possesses extensive experience as both a lawyer and former COO and is uniquely qualified to help clients navigate the complexities of their legal and fiduciary responsibilities. She specializes in providing practical and creative risk management solutions for administrators and sponsors of employee welfare benefits and retirement plans. Her fiduciary-focused practice is rooted in her deep understanding of the challenges associated with plan sponsorship and administration.
Palvino’s practice aligns with her personal commitment to improving the welfare and well-being of others, which is reflected in her representation and support of community-based nonprofit organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Sobering Center, served previously on the Board of Directors and as Board President of Thinkery and as Chair of the 2018 City of Austin Charter Review Commission.
Palvino graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Agribusiness and earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School, where she graduated cum laude. She later received a Masters of Law in Taxation-Executive Program from New York University School of Law.
