LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. announced Amanda Orcutt has joined the firm as Counsel in the Little Rock office.
Orcutt has extensive experience representing employers in all matters of employment law, both as an adviser and an advocate. She represents businesses in lawsuits brought in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in a wide range of employment disputes. Orcutt assists businesses with internal investigations involving employment issues. She counsels clients on various employment matters such as compliance with state and federal law, accommodation of disabilities, and development of employment policies. Orcutt also has extensive experience representing educational institutions in a variety of education matters, including state and federal court litigation, Title IX investigations, investigations by the federal government, and student misconduct matters. Prior to joining Mitchell Williams, she practiced for over six years at a large global law firm in Boston, Massachusetts where she represented employers and educational institutions.
Orcutt earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and was valedictorian. She also received her Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse. She is a member of the Pulaski County Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association. She is a former member of the Boston Bar Association Public Interest Leadership Program.
