Chuck Buttry of Trinity Consultants addressed the technical aspects of the Clean Air Act for my Spring University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law Environmental Law class on March 30th.
Chuck is the Regional Manager for Trinity Consultants’ Southeast Region based in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Chuck’s presentation included issues such as:

- Who Needs a Permit?
- Where Do You Get a Permit?
- When Must You Get a Permit?
- How Do You Get a Permit?
- How Do Permittees Comply With Permits
A particular focus of the presentation was air dispersion modeling that addressed:
- Regulatory Models
- Measurement of Ambient Air Pollution
- Air Pollution Monitoring Stations
- Air Pollution Monitors in Arkansas
The air permits reviewed included:
- Title V
- Prevention of Significant Deterioration (New Source Review)
- Minor Sources
