Professional Experience

Special Counsel to the Receiver of Baldwin-United Insurance subsidiaries; assisted in the preparation and execution of rehabilitation and liquidation plans for the then-largest life insurance insolvency proceeding in the United States. Represents insurance companies before state regulators in product filing, licensing and legislative matters. Extensive experience in the management and resolution of sensitive regulatory issues.

Other Activities

Served as Law Clerk to Chief Justice Carleton Harris, Arkansas Supreme Court; Appointed Assistant Attorney General, Litigation Division and Deputy Attorney General, State of Arkansas, in charge of Civil Litigation Division. Current and former board memberships include Central Arkansas Library System (President and Vice President); United Cerebral Palsy (Telethon Chair); Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS); and University of Arkansas School of Law Board of Visitors.
