One of the rules affected by the recent amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure is Rule 26(f), regarding the requirement that parties meet to discuss discovery issues. Like many of the amendments, it is a subtle change that incorporates e-discovery into the rules but it is likely to have a very real impact on a litigator’s practice.
