Mitchell Williams Intellectual Property & Technology attorney Hermann Ivester gives readers of the American Philatelist insight into The Stamp Act of 1765. The IP practice team leader, who began collecting stamps at the age of 7 or 8, soon became interested in revenue stamps and was a confirmed revenuer when he joined the American Revenue Association in 1955 at the age of 13. He has been a member of the American Philatelic Society since 1979. His collecting interests include all aspects of United States and United States-related revenue stamps.
