As noted in a previous blog post, the Mississippi Water Environment Association and Alabama/Mississippi Section of the American Water Works Association are holding a joint training seminar titled Disinfection Technologies, Safety, Reporting Requirements, and Monitoring for Water and Wastewater (“Seminar”). You can see previous blog post here.
The Seminar will be held in Senatobia, Mississippi on December 6th.
Seminar topics will include:
- Chemical Release and Tier II Reporting for Water and Wastewater Facilities
- Chlorine and Hypochlorite Safety
- Onsite Hypochlorite Generation
- Chlorine Dioxide Disinfection Solutions for Water and Wastewater
- Ozone Disinfection of Water and Wastewater
- QA/QC for Laboratory and Continuous Monitoring of Disinfection processes
The previous post noted that training has been approved by the Mississippi Department of Health and Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality for water CEUs and wastewater CEUs, respectively.
I have since been informed that training has been approved by TDEC for six hours water and wastewater CEUs.
