Professional Experience

Represents employers in litigation under Title VII, 42 U.S.C. §1983, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Advises employers on various labor employment matters including wage and hour issues, employee handbooks, hiring and termination of employees. Extensive appellate experience before the Arkansas Court of Appeals, Arkansas Supreme Court, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Handles ERISA litigation including employee benefit claims and breach of fiduciary duty claims.  Experienced in administrative law including administrative hearings before various state agencies.  Former Assistant Attorney General, Civil Division, Office of the Attorney General.
