Professional Experience

Katie’s areas of practice include Bank & Finance, Real Estate & Land Use, and Physician Practice/Business Arrangements. She advises business and individual clients in all aspects of commercial transactions including a variety of lending, real estate, corporate governance, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and general business matters.  She also advises physicians and physician groups regarding internal corporate matters, regulatory issues, and joint ventures with other health care providers.

During law school, Katie clerked for the University of Arkansas Office of the General Counsel and Wal-Mart’s Realty Management Department and was selected as a judicial extern for the Honorable Jay Finch, Benton County Circuit Court.  She also served as a student attorney in the Innocence Project Clinic.
