Professional Experience

Providing tax advice and planning to physician groups and other professional corporations. Counsel to the developer in the structuring, construction, sell-out, leasing and operation of Arkansas’ first major medical condominium office building. Structuring real estate actions on behalf of developers, investors and syndicators, to maximize tax benefits. Counsel to sellers and purchasers, as to tax and business terms, in sales of commercial and industrial real estate and transfers of business entities. Ongoing representation of lending institutions and real estate investment groups.

Other Activities

Served as law clerk to the late Carleton Harris, Chief Justice, Arkansas Supreme Court, and as attorney-agent for the IRS; corporate boards of a bank, bank holding company and mortgage company, Member; Served as Member of Boards of Lay Ministry and of Stewardship, Church Extension Fund representative, and congregation vice-president, Grace Lutheran Church.
