The National Center for Electronics Recycling and the Sustainability Consortium, commissioned by the Closed Loop Foundation, have announced the release of a report that addresses consumer electronics recycling.
The report is dated May, 2016 and titled The Electronics Recycling Landscape Report (“Report”).
The 94-page Report addresses from a national perspective:
- The types and quantities of materials that are currently and will be moving from the consumer market into the waste stream
- Programs in place to deal with this and how effective they are
- Key drivers and innovations that will impact the effectiveness of electronics recycling moving forward
