Brittany Pettingill is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group.  She joined the firm directly out of law school where she served on the Arkansas Law Review Editorial Board and helped establish the Military Law Society.   Ms. Pettingill has gained extensive experience defending nursing homes and health care providers in malpractice and negligence-based suits.  She is also experience in working up large scale pharmaceutical and products liability cases for defense in Arkansas and across the country.   Ms. Pettingill is also well-versed in electronic discovery and email maintenance and retention.  

Experience

  • Extensive experience defending nursing homes and medical care providers in malpractice and negligence-based suits.
  • Performs site visits at long-term care facilities across the state.
  • Assists with the defense work up of large scale pharmaceutical and products liability cases for trial in Arkansas and across the country.
  • Extensive experience advising on and responding to electronic discovery requests, including the maintenance, retention and review of emails.
  • Experience with general insurance defense, including defending bad faith and extra-contractual cases.
  • Served as second chair in medical malpractice jury trial, obtaining a defense verdict.
