The Arkansas chapter (“Arkansas Audubon”) of the National Audubon Society is holding a Little Rock Audubon Center Fall Open House (“Open House”) on October 11th.
The Open House will be held at the Little Rock Audubon Center at 4500 Springer Blvd., from 4:30 to 6:30.
Arkansas Audubon is the state chapter of the National Audubon Society (“Society”). The Society’s mission is stated to be the conservation and restoration of natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitat for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biological diversity.
Arkansas Audubon states that at the Open House:
. . .Attendees will learn from Audubon Arkansas staff about their current projects and programs. In addition to highlighting work in environmental education, conservation, and energy efficiency, we will also be launching Audubon’s Plants for Birds program.
The event will include a presentation honoring Volunteers of the Year as well as contributors to the Audubon Wildlife Observation Trail.
