Amy McGraw of Trinity Consultants undertook a presentation at the Arkansas Environmental Federation’s April 12th seminar in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ms. McGraw’s presentation addressed a variety of issues associated with Clean Air Act reporting and recordkeeping.
The presentation outlined a variety of recordkeeping, testing, reporting, and inspection requirements associated with an Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) Minor Source Air Permit.
The presentation addressed issues such as:
- Recordkeeping
- Length (daily, weekly, etc.)
- Averages (hourly, etc.
- Recordkeeping storage length
- Testing
- Sources of testing requirements for ADEQ, EPA, or both
- Reporting (noting both ADEQ and EPA Region VI have requirements for reporting certain conditions and events)
- Inspections (ADEQ typically undertakes annually)
The presentation also provided recommendations such as:
- Understanding the process
- Review of the permit
- Looking for action items
Ms. McGraw supplied examples in addressing these three educational suggestions.
