The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) issued a reminder regarding the dates for both a webinar and three workshops.
Each of the events is available free of charge.
The webinar will address regulated waste management and pollution prevention. Topics will include:
- Solvent Wipe Rule
- Contingency plans
- Common Resource Conservation and Recovery Act violations
- Personnel training
- Basic best management practices to prevent pollution, reduce waste and energy, and operate more efficiently
The webinar will be held on January 18th at 10:00 a.m. The presentations will be undertaken by ADEQ’s Regional Services and Business Regulatory Assistance program staff.
The three workshops will also address regulated waste management and pollution prevention. The workshops will be held:
- March 1, 2017, Donald W. Reynolds Community Center, 100 East University Road, Magnolia
- March 7, 2017, ADEQ Commission Room, 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock
- March 14, 2017, West Memphis Utility Commission, 604 East Cooper Road, West Memphis
