The Permit Branch of the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) Office of Air Quality periodically publishes a newsletter addressing a variety of issues related to the air programs it administers..
The September edition addresses two issues.
First, ADEQ notes a new timeframe for submitting stack test results. The agency states it has:
. . . extended to sixty (60) calendar days the deadline to submit results for stack tests performed on or after October 1, 2016, even if the facility’s permit states 30 days in Plantwide Condition 3 (Title V permits) or General Condition 7 (Minor Source permits). Please contact ADEQ for guidance if your permit specifically states a timeframe elsewhere in the permit.
Second, ADEQ notes that it has established a new field office in West Memphis.
The office is stated to have been established on September 26th with an Air and Regulated Storage Tank inspector.
